REGION: Cesar FARM / CO-OP: Santa Isabel ELEVATION: 1,950 Meters PROCESS: Natural
TASTING NOTES: Milk Chocolate, Orange Peel, Fruit Cake
We are excited to share this Natural Columbia with you. It is one of our fruity-est coffees we have roasted to date! This crop comes from Santa Isabel, a family owned farm in the mountainous Cesar Region of Columbia. This is the second crop of the year from their 30 hectares, providing coffee from November-February.
After harvest, the coffee beans have been fermented in cherry for 36 hours and then transferred to raised beds to dry for 20 days. This process has provided in a fruit forward cup of coffee. The drinker can expect orange peel flavors, and juicy plum.
We roast on Monday and Thursday and ship the next day. All orders placed on Monday or Thursday after 9:00 am will be shipped after the next roast day.
Used the French press and it was incredible. Thank you First Ascent!!

The quality of the Columbia beans are amazing! They are very plump, lighty roasted and smell amazing!

This is another Colombian natural process coffee from First Ascent that is what light roast coffee should be. It is smooth but flavorful, and I describe the fruitiness as quite exotic (dates + chocolate). My wife and I have enjoyed it as an espresso (americano) and as a pour over. We’ll miss this when it’s gone!

What is the best way to do the pink bourbon coffee? Regular machine, or expresso?
Thanks
