My search for a drinkable, packable instant is over. Every other brand I tried doesn't come close to this. Yes, it still tastes like instant, but it doesn't need to be drowned in sugar and cream to hide the horrid taste other instants have. This one is smooth and delicious. Best served with 12oz of water drawn from a mountain brook in the deep woods.

The Ethiopian coffee is a great full body. Coffee mixes up perfectly, no granulation at the bottom of your mug.

I didn't think I liked instant coffee... these packets were in a local mountain motel as their coffee option and I was delightfully surprised that an instant coffee packet making a super reasonable, very drinkable, and even *enjoyable* cup of coffee. May or may not have stuck all the motel room's packets in my bag, and then promptly hopped online to order more when I ran out -- these are officially the best instant coffee packets I've tried and I love having them with me for mornings while on the road, skiing, backpacking, etc.

I purchased boxes of the instant coffee first for me and then as holiday gifts. They small packs of instant coffee are all delicious. Take them camping or hiking. This is absolutely delicious instant coffee. I never thought I'd say that, but it's very true. It's a very good coffee that I'll be purchasing again.

This is the best coffee in the universe. The first time I tried it I was blown away that it was instant. It should come with a warning, because once you have it you will think all other coffee is just not as delicious. We have fantastic ground coffee that I've enjoyed for years, but now that I've had First Ascent I only want to drink First Ascent, and what's more, I find myself feeling disappointed in other coffees and just wishing everything could taste like First Ascent. Other people put sugar and milk in their coffee, I -- no joke -- will now put a sprinkle of First Ascent into any other coffee just so it tastes better. It is just so good.

Let's be honest- coffee in the backcountry is alternately a gift and a bane.
On cold mornings, it's the one thing to get me out of my bag. I always travel too light w/ too thin a bag. Nights aren't always a time of rest. So once the sun is up-i'm either up w/ a cuppa- or snuggled deep pretending I don't hear a reason to wake up.
But coffee means hot water. It means, sometimes, cream. Sugar. A cup. A stove.
All sorts of kit. Seems especially extravagant if I'm not eating any other hot meals.
But this stuff? Easily worth it. One small cup. One little alcohol stove. A spash of fuel.
Perfect. Easy. And way way better than any/every other dried coffee out there. Get it. Love it. Start your day smiling. Go find great places w/ great people.

Has the citrusy flavor I look for in a cup. Package says mix hot or cold with water or milk. Haven’t tried all the combinations but look forward to it. Convenient for mixing in my water bottle for mid morning coffee while hiking.

We love our different coffee's that we purchased. It was fun this morning when my husband asked for coffee and I said we have instant coffee! He said I can't wait to try.
